Coast Women In Business Meeting: Retaining Good Local Workers

good-worker.jpeg

Does your business have an issue in retaining your employees, contractors, or freelancers?

Join us on Thursday, October 10, at 7:30 AM to share information and get ideas for how you can retain your workforce.

For employers, retaining competent, reliable, and hard-working help is a recognized problem nationwide. Here, on the coast, it’s even more challenging for employers. Competition with other employers, pulling from a work puddle (as opposed to a pool), and a pervasive poor work ethic makes it hard to maintain a team. At our next meeting we’ll hold a roundtable discussion to brainstorm strategies to overcome these issues.

WHEN: Thursday, October 10 7:30-9 AM
TOPIC: Retaining Good Local Workers
PRESENTER: Round table: Cynthia Sharon, Terri Larsen, and Margaret Fox
WHERE: Caspar Community Center, 15051 Caspar Road, Caspar, CA 95420
COST: Free for Coast Women in Business members; $10 for nonmembers
(if interested in joining the organization, your first meeting is free)

Note: We welcome all—all races, all genders, all countries of origin, all sexual orientations.
