Most entrepreneurs start their business fueled by a passion, after they identify a need in the market, or simply go out on their own after working for a company for many years. Entrepreneurs are a special breed, combining creativity, drive and a lot of hard work in order to see their dreams come true. Often, even with the best business idea, solid financials and a thriving customer base, true profit year over year can be elusive.
West Business Development Center (WestBDC) is excited to offer a full two-day curriculum in Point Arena on exactly how to ensure your business is truly making a profit. This two-day workshop covers the brass tacks of cash flow, money management, points of financial distress and solutions for each of them. You will go from Profit Mystery to Profit Mastery by the end of the two days, and walk away with a set of tools you can implement in your business right away.
Hands-on classroom participation and activities, a take-home workbook and a specific roadmap are just some of the learning and takeaways you’ll get from this class. Certified accountants will receive 12 hours of Continuing Education credits for attending.
This class is taught by two of Mendocino’s own local experts, Kevin Williams and Steve Lamb. This dynamic duo have more than forty five years of experience between them and are West BDC’s business advisors in Fort Bragg and Ukiah, shepherding hundreds of businesses a year into being.
Jeremy and Aspen Logan, owners of the printing, copying and design studio the Color Mill in Fort Bragg, credit WestBDC’s expertise with helping them grow and create profits – they have almost doubled their revenues in two years. “We’re quick learners and WestBDC gave us the education we needed to begin. When you’re changing your life in such a big way, it’s emotional and West was a voice of reason, which helped us to make good decisions. They kept us focused on facts.”
Whether you are just starting your business, or looking to streamline and you’re your established business more efficient, sign up early as this class is one of our most popular. Financial scholarships are available, please call 707 964 7571 to find out more.
